I recently moved houses and the provider installed a wifi 7 router i need to keep but the signal i get from a 1Gbps connection in the office is 50-100Mbps... I tried Powerline but i roughly get the same. I was considering since i have a Ethernet port on the wall that can send the signal to the office and i can use ethernet in the office to connect to the computer. But i need roughly 2m away from the provider router to bridge wirelessly to a device that can insert the signal with ethernet on the wall outlet tha goes to the office. i can't get a cable from the router to the outlet on that wall sadly. Can the BE3600 be used in this way? or is there any other that is wifi7 that can do this?

Thank you

Hi@Bladept,

Thank you for your inquiry about our products.

Could I confirm whether the topology you want to achieve is:
ISP WiFi 7 router)))(((BE3600--wall port--PC

Note: --stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection.

If your provider WiFi 7 router supports wireless transmission, I suggest you consider range extender. Because Archer BE3600 is a wireless router, it supports wireless router mode and access point mode, both of which require wired connection to access the network.
Of course, it supports easymesh, and Archer BE3600 can access the Internet wirelessly only if your WiFi 7 router also supports easymesh.

However, I suggest testing the speed of the WiFi 7 router first. For example, you can use a mobile phone to test the wireless speed near the WiFi 7 router, or you can use a PC to connect to the LAN port of the WiFi 7 router to check the wired speed. (Only when it is not less than 100Mbps can it be said that the speed of your WiFi 7 router is more than 100M)

Thank you for the fast reply, that is exactly the setup i intended. The Provider Router is a Huawei WiFi7 with their custom firmware, i know the original version of it supports MESH but i doubt i can use it on this one as i barely have any options in the web interface for it and i can't even fain option for that. And speed on my phone even passes the 1Gbps on speed tests. My idea looking at the router was to use it as a router later at some point but now i really need something that fits the solution i need, is it doable with the BE3600 without me having any major access to the provider router as it is extremely limited in the firmware? Or is there another TPLink device i could use for that? WiFi 7 preferably but i guess 6E or 6 would do the trick too correct? Thank you so much
