Firmware Version : 3.13.15 Build 140319 Rel.41339n

Hi:
I am using TL-WR1043ND to connect to my service provider
Since its a PTP connection the service provider has provided me a static IP address, subnet mask default gateway etc
I have configured it well and the internet is working
But
the problem is if i am connected to the router of Service provider directly i am getting pure 20MB speed
But
when i am using my TL-WR1043ND router in the middle to split the connection and wifi etc
its giving me speed as 9MB only
why is it dropping the speed via TL-WR1043ND
though its the only pure line coming from the router, no one else in the middle is using it
any help will be appreciated
thanks

In my case it never went to max speed. First test is half of the speed
Reboots doesnt matter but yes i have noticed the speed keeps changing on router though from ISP its stable

Is the speed
10MBytes per second or
10bits per second ?
10MBytes/s is 100Mbits/s, which is the bottleneck of Fast Ethernet connection. If the speed never goes higher than 10Mbytes, maybe it is because the router only negotiated with the ISP server on 100Mbps .
Sometimes a excessively long cable provided by your ISP may cause such issue. Tall to ISP, maybe their technicians can force the server to negotiate a 1000Mbps connection.

Or flash a third party firmware such as Openwrt, DD-WRT. But notice that flashing a third party firmware will void the warranty.
(In fact, you can easily and safely flash back to the factory firmware following this guide http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr1043nd)
There are V1 and V2 for WR1043ND, you must follow the corresponding instruction to operate.
