Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 1.2.7 Build 140114 Rel.57127n

Hello.
Ive a Powerline extender that constantly drops its connection. It goes off for 30secs - 2 mins and then starts again.
Its all hard wired and is the only powelins adapter on my network.
Other computers that are simply using the router still have a connection, its just the one using the powerline adapter that fails.
Can you help?
Thanks for your time.

When connection drops, how about Powerline lights on those adapters?
Upgrade the latest firmware.

I'm getting this problem too.
I have posted a very thorough bug report, still waiting for it to appear in the forum posts though....

Hello.
When the connection drops, the lights don't seem to change. I have the top 3 lights green and the lowest one flashing green (like it always does).
And i though that was the latest firmware.

There seems to be a firmware update as of the 4th Jan 2014 (tomorrow oddly)
http://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/?model=TL-WPA4220KIT&version=V1
And direct to file:
http://www.tp-link.com/resources/software/TL-WPA4220_V1_140401_EU.zip
So i've just updated firmware and reset system. Lets see what happens.

uhhh, 14 January 2014 was last year. This is 2015.
And I suspect that "4/1/2014" is an American format date, which would be 1 April 2014.

Re:TL-WPA4220 drops connection

I'm getting the same problem here. The wireless was always iffy and tended to drop out and reset itself, so I gave up and wired it. Recently however, I'm starting to get issues with that too. If I leave it alone, it will usually come back in a couple of minutes. Otherwise, unplugging it for a few seconds and then plugging it back in will fix it. Unfortunately this is a pain in the butt when trying to watch Netflix. Any word at all from TP-Link on this? A fix in the works? Even acknowledgement that it's an issue? Maybe a response from someone to let us know they're still alive and haven't been eaten by the walking dead? I thought I'd check to see if there's a new firmware, but that part of the site seems to be down right now. Even this reply page loaded very slowly and painfully.

Did you try to reset them to factory defaults and repair them?
