Archer C9 SNR Margin Query
Region : Argentina
Model : TL-WDR4300
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I have the new Archer C9 router/modem attached to the master socket of a BT line in the UK with the latest firmware.
My query relates to the modem stats that seem to be of concern though my broadband s fast and reliable (that I know of anyway)
These are the figures :
Upstream Downstream
Current Rate (Kbps) 1259 20475
Max Rate (Kbps) 1260 20616
SNR Margin (dB) 6 3.1
Line Attenuation (dB) 8.8 20.5
Errors (Pkts) 0 0
Speedtest.net returns 17mbs pretty much whenever I try it and I never have download or streaming issues, again that I know of anyway,
As I understand it the higher the SNR Margin on downstream the better but mine is only 3.1 when I believe it should be 6 or above?
Is this correct and should I be worried by any of the figures?
Any help / advice greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards
Radar
