WDR4300 Latest Firmware breaks Internet

after I updated my WDR4300 to the latest firmware, the Internet connection is very instable. WiFi connection is almost 100% but the data itself seems to have difficulties to get through.
While two notebooks handle the bad connection by retransmission or something, my cell phones cannot establish connections in 9 out of 10 cases. Surfing with the built-in browser does work though, apps do not work anyhow.
Yes, I did restart the router, yes I did restart everything and yes I did the factory reset.
So what to do now?
