Hi..

I have a block of static IPs which I am trying to get working with my Archer D5.

I have a static IP of x.y.z.13 which is supplied by my internet provider and another block of x.y.z.40 - 47 (also supplied by my internet provider).

The modem has no problem with the x.y.z.13 (pppoE), but I cannot use my other block of IPs..

There doesn't seem to be any way to disable NAT on this thing or perform any one to one NAT or something similar... the telnet interface borders on useless.

Is anyone able to help me with this?

Thanks.

I don't think D5 has multi-NAT function.

What adsl modem were you using prior to using the Archer D5?
What ATM configuration and WAN service were you using to route your block of IPs with your original adsl modem? vpi? vci? PPPoE? PPPoA? IPoA? 1483Bridge?

Hi ...

My previous modem was the TP-Link TD-8840... no special setup, just PPPoA.

I was able to telnet into this device and turn off the NAT through that .. all very simple .. then I had my server, on the LAN side, do all my routing for me.

Thanks.

If your ISP uses PPPoA then you can also use IPoA if your ISP supports it. You can disable NAT on the WAN Settings.

The screenshot above is for the Model : TD-W8968
If you have a TD-W8968 as you stated in your post then you should have this option with the latest firmware.
Type in your static IP address and configure your LAN with the IP range allocated by your ISP. Uncheck NAT.
