Hello guys,

 

I noticed strange behavior of my home network with my new Android device. When I use the home WiFi, some applications just keep loading infinitely. BUT (here comes the weirdness), if I create a guest WiFi and use it on my device, every applications work perfectly and load instantly, same thing if I connect directly through my ISP modem which means the issue is on the home WiFi setup. I checked the settings and I don't find any restriction on my home WiFi that could explain this. 
Do you have any ideas ?

Can I have the firmware version of your Deco XE75?

 

What is the model number of the "new Android device"? Is it the only device that had this issue?

By the way, what are these "applications" that just keep loading infinitely?

Thank you for your help.

The firmware version is the latests (I tried the update as a solution) : 1.4.3 Build 20240926 Rel.38336.

The device is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ (also up to date) and the applications that do not load are Auvio (Belgium public television app) and Autoscout24 (Car trading app). It's really weird because those apps work perfectly on my iPhone on the same wifi. And even weirder, the apps also work on the tablet when I create a guest WiFi.

I'll consult the engineer to see whether he has any other suggestions.

By the way, can you consistently reproduce this issue? 

I wonder whether it might be interrupted by other devices in the main WiFi network. Deco XE75-1.4.3 should support device isolation. Does it help if we enable "Device Isolation" for Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+?
