Hey guys,
I was literally just about to give support a personal email, rant style for pure banter and serious support but I figure I (hopefully) will have more luck here first. Basically, I've just bought a new TP-Link WDR3600 router to attach on to my network and set my Super Hub 2 to modem mode. Simple enough, right? Clearly not for myself. I've tried EVERYTHING I could possibly know, and all the troubleshooting methods I've read, nothing work. Essentially I have literally no way of logging into my router, heck I can't even load the damn web login page. It just baffles me how such a simple process can just literally annoy the hell out of me.
Now I've tried 2 systems, multiple cables and just nothing, the closest I've come to something is changing my super hub back to router mode, plugging in any RJ45 port (excluding the internet port) on the TP link router, and getting a working internet connection; but still no connection to the TP login screen!. I've reset the router, I've excluded the super hub from the problem, and I just do not achieve anything. Heck, I've even tried the installation disc, which reports back I have no successful IP from the DHCP; oh wait, the TP router should be doing that for me? But I can't tell because I can't even access it.
I apologise for my frustration but this has seriously annoyed as I consider it a simple task, so if anyone can give me any pointers, or would like to know anything else, fire away. I've tried everything I possibly can, EXCEPT go back to where I got it from and either get a replacement or a refund.
Regards,
Matt
