Troubleshooting Deco M4R Issue and Compatibility Inquiry
Hello,
I have two Deco M4R units in my network. My main Deco is working properly, but the other one is not. It was functioning fine for the past two years, but now it seems to be broken—the LED indicator is red. Here’s what I have tried so far:
- Deco A is my main unit, which is working properly.
- Deco B is the one that appears to be faulty.
Troubleshooting steps I have taken:

Reset Deco B – The LED turned blue, but during setup in the app, I received an error saying I couldn't connect to the Deco.

Reset both Deco A and Deco B – I attempted to set up Deco B as the main unit, but I still couldn't connect to it.

Checked if my phone was the issue – I successfully set up Deco A as the main network again, so my phone does not seem to be the problem.
Are there any other troubleshooting steps I can try for Deco B?
I am considering buying another Deco M4R if it's confirmed to be broken, but I couldn’t find a legitimate store that sells a single unit on Lazada or Shopee in the Philippines.
Additionally, I would like to ask:

Can I use a Deco E4 instead, considering that my main unit is a Deco M4R?

If not, what other compatible WiFi extenders or devices can I use?
