I have this TD-VG3631 dsl modem.
its original firmware is built 20120929, it worked well even it is built 2 years before.

Now the company release the new firmware built 20140925, it seems fine to fix some security issues.

After upgrade the new firmware, the modem drops line frequently. Sometimes it occurs every 5-10 minutes.
On the contrary, with the old firmware, it only occurs 1 or 2 time every day.

I have been told that its firmware is not able to downgrade to 20120929.
Any idea to fix the problem?

How does it drop? No ADSL light? No Internet light? No Wi-Fi? Can you login its web interface at that time.
If you can, I suggest reporting it here with the system log. http://www.tp-link.ca/en/Support/contact/

I too have a prob with my TD-VG3631 dropping out but only once a week with firmware V1-140925. This new firmware definitely helped with voip functions though!
When it drops out, everything seems to be physically ok with it. I mean the DSL light and the internet, wifi and network lights are all on. Just no connection! Even if I plug in (RJ45) and try to access the web interface it blocks me out, I have to reboot physically before anything can be done!
Any solutions?
