RE505x Easy Mesh - Zoom Voice Lagging Issue
I am using RE505X as a range extender and set it up for Easy Mesh. I can use it to extend the WiFi coverage for all internet connections smoothly, except Zoom. I experience voice lagging every time when I have a zoom even though I did a speed test to verify my boardband connection is good.
I found that there are people using Deco as mesh also experience such problem. May I know if any expert can advise me how to resolve this issue?
Thank You

Hi, thanks for posting question here.
Here are some troubleshooting suggestions for your reference:
1. Does the issue only happen on your computer? Did you ever change another client device to check?
2. Please connect your PC to another network or the main network to confirm.
4. Is your computer connected to 2.4GHz or 5GHz band of the range extender?
5. If you only connect the PC to range extender instead of multiple devices connecting, does the same issue remain?
Best regards.

Hi, thanks for your update.
May I know the model of your main router?
How about the LEDs on the range extender? Each LED is lit normally? Especially 5G LED?
If you put the range extender near or next to the router, is it the same result?
BTW, please tag me or our official account to make sure your reply is noticed by us timely.

thanks for your follow up.
1. the model of main router is archer ax23.
2. All Leds works properly, including 5g one.
3. same result for zoom voice lagging issue if I move my laptop closer or farther from the extender.
the extender works well for watching YouTube or other downloading files from internet. The issue is zoom voice lagging, of which I can hear what other says clearly, while they advise me that my voice keeps lagging.
4. No issue at all if I connect to main router even though the bandwidth is only lower than 25mb.

Hi, thanks for your update.
May I confirm how far you put the range extender from the router.
One of my suggestions is to put the range extender near or next to the router instead of putting computer near the extender.
Could you please check again?
Best regards.
