802.1x WAN authentication missing
Region : Argentina

Hardware Version : V2
Firmware Version :

Hello,
I just moved to a dorm in Germany and it seems I need to authenticate via IEEE 802.1x onto the WAN network. I looked through my router's manual
http://www.tp-link.com/resources/document/TL-WR340GD_V4_User_Guide.pdf
and on page 2, bullet point 3 it says that it should have this ability. However, when I go in the WAN dropdown, there is only Dynamic, Static, PPPoE and some Russian things, nothing about 802.1x. What am I doing wrong? How can I get it to work? I tried updating the firmware as well as restoring to factory defaults, but no luck. I would greatly appreciate any help in getting this to work.
Thank you,
Tudor
