I have the TL-WA850RE v1.2, latest firmware (10.03.2014).

I'm experiencing troubles with airplay.

My setup is the following: Router TL-WR1043ND (latest firmware) -> (wireless) TL-WA850RE v1.2 -> (ethernet cable) Yamaha RXA820.

When using airplay from my IPAD 4 (latest IOS) the connection drops every 4-5 seconds. I'm experiencing the same problem with my Iphone 5.

When using airfoil from my windows computer none of these problems occur.

Question 1: Is this a common problem? Is there some work around for this?

Question 2: Is there some way of disabling the extender-functionality in the device and only use it as an wireless -> ethernet bridge? (My reciever does not have WIFI)

My settings are: Universal mode and smart DHCP. When I look at my DHCP clients in the TL-WR1043ND both the TL-WA850RE and the Yamaha RXA820 have received IP-addresses.
