Hardware Version : V3

Firmware Version : Unsure

ISP : SpeedNet

I'm totally confused about which version of TP Link AP I'm using- TL-WA500G or TL-WA5001G ?
Kindly go through the screenshot: Look for the Model No and Hardware Version.

I want to update the Firmware. I want to know what exactly is the Model No of my AP? and from where I can get the appropriate firmware to Update the system?

forget the webpage. Check the bottom of your device, there is a label on it. check the model on the label . usually you will see TL-WA501G V1 or TL-WA500G V1.
if there is no V1 or V2, it means that is the first hardware version(V1).

then go to www.tp-link.com and search the model number

My ISP has modified the AP Device, they have removed the Outer Casing!

As my ISP removed the Outer Casing of the said device, I can not look for the Label.

At the moment the device is hanging over our Roof working as a AP Client connecting to a Local Hotspot. The only way I can access it, is to access via the Internal Page! :(

I figure it out, check your screenshot you can see the firmware is released in 080909, which is the oldest firmware in the below site.

You can update to the newest one TL-WA501G_V1_120727
