After update TL-WA801ND_V2_140425 cannot connect to my Chromecasts anymore.
So i went back to TL-WA801ND_V2_130121 and both my Chromecasts popped up again and worked straight away.
I read in the changelog security was changed with 140425, so that might have been a problem.
AP isolation was turned off as suggested by Google Chromecast facts.
Is this a bug or do i have to change a setting somewhere in the firmware?

After update TL-WA801ND_V2_140425 cannot connect to my Chromecasts anymore.
So i went back to TL-WA801ND_V2_130121 and both my Chromecasts popped up again and worked straight away.

Don't flash your device untill you understand the concept, need to read tutorials and how tos before, or you will end up with a beautiful brick
Hope you'll agree that this confirms that switching to alternative firmwares can not be a viable alternative to obtaining an official fixed firmware for many owners of this device. Specifically those who doesn't have sufficient technical abilities (or time/patience/whatever)

Just got this TL-WA801ND_V2_150211_beta from the support. I've uploaded it to onedrive http://1drv.ms/1H4UQag
It works for my chromecast. I was also told the stable release is somehow delay so that we have seen any firmware updates on the website. But it will come, I'll wait for the official release.

Thanks for this useful information, and sorry for the late response (I may have a problem with this forum email notifications)
Not sure if I'll wait for the stable release though, since the delay seem be a bit longer than expected.

New firmware (Version 150422) is
online.
Just surprised by that comment in the "notes" section :
Does it means that it doesn't apply to V2 hardware?
