TL-WPA4220 wifi connections repeatedly slow down & eventually hang

Region : UK
Model : TL-WPA281
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version :
ISP :
The wifi connections on TL-WPA4220 intermittently slow down and eventually hang every day or so. When the connections slow interestingly I can't even get on to the Admin web interface but do have limited (slow) access to other devices.
The wifi signal is at full strength on the remote devices, and I have tried a number of different remote devices, all have the same behaviour. Power cycling the TL-WPA4220 brings it all back to life again. The hardwired Ethernet connections don't appear to be affected.
I thought this might be connected to the dhcp issues people are having so gave all the wifi devices static IP addresses, but this hasn't fixed the issue.
This does seem to be some sort of routing issue but without a network sniffer its hard to see what's going on.
All advice greatly received.

I have same issues. Any solution so far offered by TP Link?
