OK - so I've got a fiber optic modem (ONT), used as a DHCP / NAT, with all clients as static IP's, and an ASUS RT-N66 pimped to 500 mW's as an access point, and here I see the TL-WR841HP with 1000 mW's. I go out and buy one, try to set it up as an access point downstream of the ONT through Ethernet and surprise, it does work but wants to take over as primary DHCP / NAT - and keeps trying to stay on the 192.168.0.X domain, where I want it as a slave to another set of octet values.
Tried static IP, tried disabling the DHCP, tried multiple configurations, it just doesn't want to submit and play nice...
Any ideas?...
