(new firmware) Again problem with TL-WA850RE and http://tplinkextender.net/
Region : Italy
Model : TL-WA850RE
Hardware Version : V2
Firmware Version : 3.14.8 Build 140310 Rel.54716n
ISP :
hi,
I have just upgraded the firmware on three of these devices and I have the same problem on each device!
Follows some information the status of one of these:
[...]
IP Address: 10.10.100.18
[...]
Firmware Version: 3.14.8 Build 140310 Rel.54716n
Hardware Version: WA850RE v1.2 00000000
If I try to access to the device using the IP address I have NOT any problem.
If I try using its name "tplant" the browser is redirect to the damn page http://tplinkextender.net/.
Follows the query and the answer of my home-DNS server (an raspberry):
Command 511 of 13 $nslookup tplant
Server: 10.10.100.100
Address: 10.10.100.100#53
Name: tplant
Address: 10.10.100.18
Command 512 of 14 $nslookup 10.10.100.18
Server: 10.10.100.100
Address: 10.10.100.100#53
18.100.10.10.in-addr.arpa name = tplant.
Thank you for your time.
