Hi
I have the following tp-link products and need some help to configure them (TL-WR1043ND, TL-WA901ND, TL-WR340G)
I use the TL-WR1043ND as a primary DHCP server and from there will connect the TL-WA901ND to it via Ethernet. The TL-WA901ND is configured with a static IP and DHCP turned off and I can get internet via wireless from it no problem (IP addresses are handed out correctly). From there I want to use the TL-WA901ND to wirelessly bridge to the TL-WR340G (the TL-WR340G has DHCP turned off as well and also has a static IP). This is where I have problems.
What mode do I need to put the TL-WA901ND into? The only way I have been able to get the TL-WR340G to connect to it wirelessly is to put the TL-WA901ND into Access Point mode and disable MAC filtering and also turn WDS on on the TL-WR340G. Then I can get the TL-WR340G to connect to the TL-WA901ND but no IP addresses are assigned (and no internet).
I've tried the TL-WA901ND in WDS Repeater mode, bridge with AP mode and universal repeater mode but without being able to establish a connection between it and the TL-WR340G. Any ideas?
Regards
