TL-WDN4200 Limited Access Windows 7
Region : France
Model : TL-WDN4200
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 3.2.11
ISP : Free
Hi,
since a few days I experience many issues of limited access with my TL-WDN4200 Wifi dongle.
Sometimes it disconnects every minutes, sometimes the connection lasts 5, 10, 20mn then suddenly stop (but it doesn't show as "disconnected"), but I can have a permanent connection whereas I didn't have any problems for monthes
So :
- I made a registry clean-up
- I uninstall / reinstall drivers / setup wizard... etc...
- I tested Wifi from my IP box with other devices (android phone, iphone, laptop...)
- I tried DHCP / assigned IP
- I tried every USB port from my computer (it's a desktop), even USB from one of my screen
- I made every softwares/firmwares updates I could : windows, mothercard, hard drives.
- In the Properties panel of the dongle I deactivate "allow this computer to switch off this device for energy saving"
On my Wifi IP box :
- I tried every channel
- I tried WPA2-PSK, WPA2-PSK/TKIP, WPA2-PSK/AES
- I tried 20 Mhz channel, 40 Mhz
- I changed EAPOL protocol from 1 to 2 to 1 to...
In the Windows Wireless Management :
- I switched on/off automatic connection
- I switched on/off even if the network doesn't give its SSID (which is not active on my IP box, my network name is clearly identifiable)
Well... I probably did some other things but I don't remember.
The only thing I remember is that one day it was working for monthes, and the next day it didn't...
Some help ?
My computer configuration is :
- Motherboard : Asus P8Z68-V PRO
- CPU : Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3Ghz
- Windows 7 Family Premium SP1
- Ram 2x4Go GSkill Extreme3 PC12800
- 2 HDD : SSD Crucial M4 128 Go + Samsung Spinpoint F3 1 Tb
Model : TL-WDN4200
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 3.2.11
