How to transform my TP-Link TD W9960 into WiFi Extender

I had a look at a previous solution suggested on a different thread but It hasn't worked for me. I need to know if it's possible and all the steps to do it successfully.

You may try to use DHCP relay instad of disabling the DHCP server poited to to your main router IP address:
WDS is not a standardised feature and may or may not work with a particular main router.

@terziyski I'd like to know if there is a tested working method for this type of router. Can't the guys at TP-LINK advise on this?
