Hi,

I have a TD-W8951ND with a grandstream GXP2100 on the local network. The grandstream is registering with a remote sip server. However I am able to send SIP packets to the grandstream remotely on port 5060. I am assuming a nat entry has been created for the sip connection but am confused why it would be letting traffic from arbitrary addresses talk to the grandstream. Seems like a security issue...

Cheers
Tristan

Hi Tristan

TD-W8951ND_V5 has published some new firmware with new security mechanism, so maybe you can try to upgrade it

Downloaded the zip file but I'm unsure which firmware is suitable given the advice in "Which one should I choose to upgrade.txt":

If your current Firmware Version is 5.0.0 Bulild 120522 Rel.23978, please choose TD-W8951_V5_140226 to upgrade.
If your current Firmware Version is 5.0.0 Build 131104 Rel.09041, please choose TD-W8951_V5_140306 to upgrade.

given I have "5.0.0 Build 120703 Rel.29030"

Thanks in advance
