Hi all,

I have FTTP and a VoIP connection via the X73 for my landline number.  When I contact a company with a call routing system (press 1 for Sales, 2 for Accounts etc.) my key presses are almost always ignored and I am unable to reach the desired department.  I thought the problem might be our 'phone (an old Panasonic) so I have just bought a new BT Premium unit but the problem persists.  I have also spoken with my ISP who say that as the router was not supplied by them they can't help.

Can anyone offer advice/comment on this problem please?

Many thanks,
Stanno

Hi, did you have an extra VOIP modem other than the Deco X73-DSL? Did the call routing work with the old VOIP modem?

By the way, May I know who your internet/VOIP provider is?

So far, I don't have any other suggestions and would like to forward your case to the senior engineer for further assistance.

Could you please reply to the email with some screenshots of your current VOIP configuration on the Deco APP?

Thank you very much and best regards.

  @Stanno

Hi, thanks for responding.

My ISP is IDNet in the UK.  I have had the X73 for a number of years as a DSL router and I only switched to VoIP when I upgraded to full fibre so I haven't had any other VoIP equipment.

Here are my VoIP settings:

Provider - Other
Phone Number - xxxxxxx
Registrar Address - sbc(dot)insmartcloud(dot)com
Authentication ID - xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Password - xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Registrar Port - 5060
Sip Proxy - sbc(dot)insmartcloud(dot)com
Sip Proxy Port - 5060
Outbound Proxy - 0.0.0.0
Outbound Proxy Port - 5050
Register via Outbound Proxy - Unchecked
