Deco client bug?

Hi

I have a few Deco S7 and XE-75. I have a camera that somtimes goes offline, though it's far better since that 2.4ghz channel fix. The odd thing is, I am not sure this is the same issue. The client shows this - It connected, and a full signal, but no IP address. This happens with a few clients. How can it be connected with no IP? My IP's are statically assigned via DHCP and the MAC address matches, but, not IP and the client is off the network. Restarts on;t fix it, but sometimes complete reboot of all decos does (I think it connects to another deco). Any idea what causes this? Clealy, the client is either broken or it really is connected, but somthing TCP/IP wise is.

Hi, nice to see you again.

Can I have the model numbers of the devices that are online but without IP addresses on the Deco APP?

-Did they display like this most of the time, or just randomly?

-Please also help me submit the Deco APP log:How to submit Deco APP log

"My IP's are statically assigned via DHCP and the MAC address matches, but, not IP"

-Do you manually set static IP addresses for these devices? or Do you mean you have configured "Address Reservation"?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

@David-TP fwiw - I have seen this behaviour on and off for many months, maybe a year. It's not something new and has persisted across a couple firmware versions.

Somtimes it happens with Logitech squeezbox (though since the 2.4ghz fix I cannot recall having seen these offline!).

The DLink camera I cannot recall the model of. A dcs somthing. Sorry - It's remote and off course offline at the moment. I'll have a look once I can get there.

Re the IP assignments, yes - I use mac address reservations, but they are assigned IP's by DHCP. That means of course my scope is not full. Everything else get's it's IP OK, so it is not a DHCP issue.

I have power cycled this camera a few times over the last few weeks and it has not come back online. Grrr. Still shows in that list though as connected with good signal strength. As I said, I have see this a fair few times. Most of my kit has been much, much better since that 2.4ghz firmware tweek. This camera was OK for a a few weeks, now it seems to have decided to not work anymore via the DECO's.
