Hi.
I have a TalkTalk wireless router (DSL-3680). It works perfectly wirelessly. It works perfectly when I plug my laptop into the back of the router and use it wired. BUT, if I plug my TL-PA211 into the back of the router, after about a minute the router seems to crash and reboot itself. This is the 2nd router I've received from TalkTalk because I thought it was the router's fault but now it seems to be down to the PowerLine. I have a few TL-PA211s and they all cause the same issue - even with no other Powerline plugged in - so you would think it would just sit there and do nothing - but it puts the router into a panic state and it reboots, communicates with the Powerline and the reboots again.
Any thoughts?!
Thanks
Andy

solved - picked up nextdoor's Powerline & router

Found the solution myself.
I ran the PowerLine utility and it showed other PowerLine devices. With no Network Name it looks like I am picking up my next door neighbours PowerLine who also don't have a Network Name. This caused a problem because my router has DHCP on 192.168.1.1 and their router has DHCP on 192.168.1.1 and the poor PowerLines & Router didn't know what to do with conflicts and IP mess going on. Anyway, I have set a Network Name on my 4 PowerLines and everything is perfect. Next door should be happy too!
