Background Introduction

M-net's ADSL and VDSL lines both use the DS-Lite connection type. After configuring regular IPv6 dial-up with DS-Lite enabled, users may still be unable to access the Internet or visit most websites. After further troubleshooting with our users, we found that the remote IPv6 address of M-net's DS-Lite line cannot be automatically obtained and needs to be manually configured.

Recommended Solution

Users can manually configure the Configuration Type by following these steps: go to Advanced >> Network >> IPv6 Tunnel on the web-based interface, and enter aftr.prod.m-online.net as shown in the screenshot below:

Note: WAN connection generally displays the IPv6 single-stack dialling entries you have already set up by default, so just focus on the following two options.
