TP-Link 702n appears fine but not extending wifi signal
Region : UnitedKingdom

Hardware Version : V4

Hi
I'm connecting a TP-LINK 702N via a TP-LINK powerline adapter (500mbps) so the position of the 702N should not matter right? I configured the 702N in repeater mode before I connected it to the powerline adapter but was not impressed by the wifi signal around the nano router so suspecting the location of the nano router to be the culprit I then connected it via a powerline adapter but there still is no wifi signal in the area around the 702N.
Config:
SSID & wifi password same as on Linksys WAG320N downstairs.
Am I missing something here?
