AC600 nano does not see 5G

I use mobile hotspot for internet connection with my laptop. The laptop doesnt have 5G available so I ordered this adapter. The problem is, the adapter still doesnt pick up on the 5G network. I tried everything I could. Installed the driver, found a realtek driver in another thread and installed that, I sent it back and got a new one, tried it in another laptop. Nothing helped. I found that it probably needs 40 mhz bandwith, but I cant change that with a mobile hotspot. Is there anything else I can try?
