TL-WR941ND as Repeater for a DLINK DSL-2750B
Region : Argentina
Model : TL-WR1043ND
Hardware Version : V2
Firmware Version :
ISP :
My ISP changed my TP-Link wireless router (TL-WR941ND) for a D-LINK one (DSL-2750B). I want to use my "old" TP-Link as a Repeater (WDS Bridge ?). Both are WDS capable - at least have all configuration options.
I configurated both correctly, same LAN Sub-net, Same Channel, the WR941ND (secondary-repeater) with DHCP disabled, correct MAC-address mapping.
During configuration, both found each other, using survey options, everything OK.
After reboot (both), something does not go right. Connected with my lap-top via wire to the WR941ND, i see in the status page (on browser) the WDS searching, asking for authorisation, but no connection happens.
searching in different posts arround the web, most people say that this only works well with devices (routers, AP, Bridges) from same manufacturer, but before i build a d-liink for this purpose, i want to try all possibilities.
