Deco running slow or not at all with wired backhaul
Hello,
I have three Deco BE65 units with the following topography:
When set up like this, everything works fine. However, as soon as I wire the 'living room' and 'garage end' Decos together, instead of allowing them to connect wirelessly, every device connected to the 'garage end' and 'bedroom end' Decos connects to the internet incredibly slowly, or not at all.
I've tried using a different network cable between the 'garage end' and 'living room' units, but the outcome is the same.
Is there any way I can diagnose what's going on and why it runs so poorly when connected via an ethernet cable?
Thanks.

To make sure everything is fine with your Deco mesh setup in general, question: did you name your Satellite Deco as "Deco_71A0" and "Deco_7434?"
Because, usually if everything is right, one will see Satellite Deco named similar to what I have in my Deco app:

Hi, It is also suggested to install the 1.1.0 version here:
Deco BE65_V1_1.1.0 Supported WireGuard VPN, Channel Selection and Matter
After that, you could try to temporarily power off "Bedroom" Deco_7434 when trying to connect the "Garage" Deco_71AD to see whether the Ethenet Backhaul works this time, then power back "Bedroom" Deco_7434.
Thank you very much and best regards.

@neilbaker86 Do you have any other network appliance (router, switch) in addition to the three Deco?

The ‘living room’ Deco is connected (wired) to the Virgin media hub. No other network devices are connected to it.

@neilbaker86 Is the wifi active on the Virgin media hub? If yes, do you have same issue when you disable it?

@yves_b No, I disabled the Wi-Fi on the Virgin media hub some time ago, but it makes no difference anyway.
