Model: Archer A5
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.9.10.5 v0001.0 Build 240816

When I connect to my new Archer A54 router my wifi calling does NOT work. Getting error msg that my phone is not registered on a network.

If I connect directly to the ISP modem that supplies the router my wifi calls work just fine.

When I connect to the 5g of my router wifi calling may or may not work.

I know it must be a configuration issue but I cant seem to get it resolved.

I have an open ticket with TP Link support and they have not been able to help.

They had an issue with ip 192.168.0.1 opens my ISP modem page instead of the TP link page.

I truly appreciate any help.

I disabled SIP ALG ...nothing 😔

Hi,

Can your smartphone use the Internet normally when it's connected to the Archer A5?

If Wi-Fi Calling (aka. Voice Over Wi-Fi) sometimes works when you are connected to the Archer A5's 5 GHz band and sometimes doesn't, then the quality of your Internet connection might be marginal.

Can you please perform an Internet speedtest and report back the results you get (Download/Upload and Ping)?

Although the Archer A5's IP address is 192.168.0.1 by default, if the ISP modem already uses this IP address, then TP-Link routers should automatically change their own IP address to 192.168.1.1.

So, please try to access your Archer A5 via 192.168.1.1 when it is connected to the ISP modem.

The correct domain name to access an Archer A5 should be tplinkwifi.net, not tplinkmodem.net.
In case tplinkwifi.net also doesn't work, then perhaps your web browser has Secure DNS activated.
