Model: Deco X50 - PoE
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi all,

I just wanted to ask if this setup i have in my head would work?

Currently, I own 2 ax55's, one is the main router, the other on easymesh with ethernet backhaul.

Is it possible to add the deco x50 poe to the topology above in AP mode? Would this work with no issues?

Thanks!

  @Synfalle

This will not work, because Deco X50-PoE does not support EasyMesh.

  @Alexandre.

I see.

If that is the case, will the best way to utilize the devices is to have one ax55 as a main router, the other ax55 and the deco x50 as AP's then?

  @Synfalle You can certainly use the Deco in AP mode, provided you wire it to one AX55.
However, you will have two independent wifi networks, preferably with distinct SSID.
