I had a perfectly working system for quite a while, and with no additional changes being made am now getting a number of issues. 

 

The network has 6 XE75 Pro units on a 1GB connection.  typical download speed is normally 900mb-1gb, and upload 100mb.

 

1.  WiFi performance is now normally hovering between 50-100mb download, and upload can be anything between 10-20mb.  Overall performance is now very poor to not usable on wifi

2. intermittent disconnects of the deco units, which come back after 5 mins or so.

 

Wired connectivity remains unaffected i.e. no issues with speed here.

 

I have tried adjusting some settings as per some recommendations from your KB articles:

 

I have done the following

Disable QOS. Turn off the UPNP feature and SIP ALG

 

I have tried turning on 6ghz, this made no difference.

 

Please help!

Are the 6* Deco XE75 Pro wirelessly connected to each other?

--Can I have some screenshots of the network map on the Deco APP, such as:

May I know how many mobile devices you have? Were they mainly smart home devices?

Can I have some model numbers of the mobile devices that had a slow speed and frequently dropped out?

 

 

If possible, I hope you could help me run a simple test:

  • Enable the Guest network for 5GHz only to test whether the 5GHz Guest network could provide a decent wireless speed.

Hi

 

All 6 units are wirelessly connected.

 

Approx 30 devices are typically connected, of which 7-8 are mobile devices. An example is Samsung S25 Ultra and the Google Pixel 6.

 

I have run the suggested test (5 ghz guest), with several speed tests and unfortunately no change.

Can you share some speed test results on these two devices?

 

As all the satellite Deco units are wirelessly connected, Did the Samsung S25 Ultra and the Google Pixel 6 still get slow speed when connecting to the main Deco XE75 Pro?

-You can refer to this link to set the preferred Deco and wireless band for the Samsung S25 Ultra and the Google Pixel 6.

How to select a preferred signal source on the Deco App

 

 

I'll also send a beta firmware for Deco XE75 Pro_V3 which has improved the Mesh Backhaul performance. You could also check whether it helps with the current issue.

Hi David.  Thanks.  The speedtests were the same, irrespective of what deco the devices are connected to (main or otherwise),

 

If you could please share the beta FW (assuming this wont make it any worse), i can give this a try.
