Hello, I have a problem with my new ADSL modem TD-W8980, I use the latest firmware V1_131012.
My problem is the ADSL connection drops every 24 or 48 hours for 4-8 minutes, then it works perfectly and very stable.
I NEVER had problems with my ADSL line.
My previous modem W8961ND V1 and V3 works very well and stable 24/7 for several years...
and now upgrade to W8980 V1 but the connection drops after 1 or 2 days of use. drops for 4-8 minutes and then works normally.

What is the problem? leave my screenshots below... this is what appears in the "System Log" when the connection is dropped.

Hi Daniel

Check if you choose "Always on", if not ,please select it.
If yes, you can reset your router and reconfigure it.
And see if it will be ok~

"Always on" already selected... I re-configure and restart the modem (factory defaults).... Same problem.

well.....When your Internet drops, is ADSL light on or off? If you log in 8980's web page, can you see DSL connceted and Upstream & Downstream data?

The modem light is always ON when the connection is dropped, and yes i can see the values ​​Upstream & Downstream in the 8980's interface!...also says "Line Status:Connected"
The network icon in Windows 7 sets with yellow exclamation... After a few minutes again i have Connection and the yellow exclamation disappears.
