M9 Plus Units keep restarting

Firmware Version: 1.6.4 Build 20240719 Rel. 40539

Hi all

I have 6 M9 Plus units and 5 X50 units in my home network.

Over the last few days the M9 Plus units keep restarting:

Units are green, then they turn yellow meaning they're restarting, flashing red and they appear offline in my Deco app (see screenshot).

After a few minutes they are back online green.

I've noticed that the 192.168... is rarely accessible and really slow.

One M9 plus is connected via ethernet with another M9 Plus (apart form the head Deco which is connected to my ISP modem/router).

The X50 units are working flawless.

All units M9 Plus/X50 have the latest firmware.

I've tried and succeeded to reset all my M9 units, but no solution there.

Anyone who can help? Many thanks in advance. You all have a great day!

Hi, welcome to the community.

Did Deco work in "Wireless Router" mode or "Access Point "mode?

I wonder whether it was due to so many satellite units in the Mesh system.

Would there be any chance that you could use the 6*Deco M9 units to create a new mesh system to see whether the same issue continued?

Pick one M9 plus connect directly to the ISP modem router.

Hi @David-TP

Thanks for the update. Deco is working in 'router mode', which worked perfectly fine for several years.

I'm using 3 M9plus units in a new WiFi network, in the next hours/days i'll check if the units appear Yellow again.

I'll keep you posted.
