Hello,

I would like to know if you have found a solution ?

 

I've tried the latest firmware then downgrade to 1.08, same issue.

 

Router -- Wifi --- RE650 -- RJ45 -- Computer

 

I've tried all solutions describe in the forum link above without success.

Sometimes, the light on the re650 just become red a second, sometimes just loose 2.4 OR 5Ghz wifi ; sometimes both and need to restart the re650 (power off/power on) to solve this.

 

Thanks for your help and sorry about my english as it is not my maternal langage.

Hi @Krako,

If you are experiencing intermittent wireless connection on the range extender, please refer to the following suggestions:
1. Confirm the extender is properly located based on How to place your wireless Range Extender for optimal reception and performance.
2.  Disable Parental Control or Access Control (Blacklist/ Whitelist) on the host router if they have been enabled for the extender.
3. Turn off Band Steering (also called "Smart Connect" or "Whole-Home Wi-Fi") and set up different Wireless names for the router's 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz Wi-Fi.
4. Fix the wireless channels on the host router, such as channel 11 for 2.4GHz and channel 48 for 5GHz.
