Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.7.4 Build 20231222 Rel. 63684

I have been using a range of M5s in a wifi hotspot so I need to leave the wife password field blank/without security. Recently I upgraded the firmware of the M5 and recreated the Wifi network, but all of a sudden I see no option in the Deco app for leaving the wifi without password. Does anyone have an idea what is happening here? Have tried downgrading the firmware, but still see no option to turn off password.

Ah, great - just realised it doesn't have to do with the firmware version at all. Downgraded the Android app and the option not to set a password is suddenly back....

I thought upgrades were meant to improve...
