Can I have a range extender and power line adapter on the same wi fi network?

  @GreyTech1 Yes you can, but be careful how you set things up.

I have some TL-PA9020P powerlines in my house, and I also wanted to increase the range of my wifi signal.
So I bought a TP-Link RE700X WiFi 6 AX3000Mbps WiFi Extender Booster

 

It comes with an ethernet port as well.
I thought it would provide a stronger and more stable connection if I plugged the ethernet into the powerline.
Although it worked, it also messed up me network devices cos the wifi extender seemed to override the IP addresses that were assigned by the router.
So I had to disconnect the ethernet.
But I think this was due to me not disabling the extender's DHCP server.

Not only that, if you name the wifi extender to use the same SSID as your router, it can result in slower wifi speeds.
I found it best to use the default SSID, which will be your router SSID followed by _EXT
But then you will have to add this second connection to all your devices.
