Best VDSL modem to pair with Deco BE11000 Mesh WiFi
I have an existing Deco BE11000 mesh wifi system and need a new VDSL modem to connect to Australia's NBN.
Is there a TP-Link modem with mesh wifi that might be able to extend the existing mesh network provided by the Deco BE11000?
I thought the Archer VX1800V might be a good choice, but not sure about compatibility with my mesh wifi.
If not, please recommend a TP-link VDSL modem that will work well with my existing Deco BE11000.

Deco mesh and Easymesh are different technoligies - they are not compatible.
There is an exception though - Deco X50 (v1.20) - details.
In your case you can:
1.Either set Deco in AP mode - details.
2.Or set VX1800v in bridge mode and Deco in router mode - details.
In both cases you'll avoid the double NAT in your network. It is recommended to disable VX1800v wireless radio to avoid a potential interference.
Finally you can just use a Deco X50-DSL or Deco X20-DSL unit instead and integrate in a whole mesh with your existing BE11000.

The Archer VX1800v should work well as a VDSL modem for your NBN connection, but it won’t directly extend your Deco BE11000 mesh. However, you can still connect it in bridge mode tassimo coffee pods and let the Deco handle the networking. If you want seamless integration, a standalone VDSL modem like the TP-Link VR2100 might be a solid alternative.
