Archer AX55 v1 continues disconnections and reboots

Firmware Version: Archer AX55(EU)_V1_1.3.3 Build 20240628

I recently bought an Archer AX55 v1 to use it as an Access point. I have the latest firmware (Archer AX55(EU)_V1_1.3.3 Build 20240628 rel 37017 (4555)).

I have tested it both in "Access point" mode and "Wireless router mode".

I face continues internet disconnections. The internet led becomes red and after a while it is restored automatically.

I also face random reboots.

The logs do not show anything helpful, or related to a disconnection or reboot.

I have FTTH internet connection with Vodafone ISP. All the other devices connected to the Vodafone modem/router do not face any problem either on wifi or ethernet.

I have used different cat5e / cat6 ethernet cables to connect my Archer AX55 to the Vodafone router.

I have also tried powering on the archer AX55 with no internet. With just my laptop connected on ethernet and my mobile on wifi. to use just the local network. And after a while i also got a random reboot.

I tried uploading an older FW (Archer AX55(EU)_V1_231130) but it always fails with an "upload error".

Do you have any similar experiences?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, welcome to our community.

May I confirm some information to understand your situation better?

1.What is the model of your Vodafone modem router?

2. You may factory reset AX55 and reconnect it to another LAN ports on Vodafone modem router to observe the its performance.

3. Are you using the original power adapter of AX55? Please try different power sockets for AX55 to avoid any small probability.

4. What wired devices are connected to your Vodafone modem router and AX55 at the same time?

5. When AX55 got a random reboot, how the LEDs change on it?

Thank you for your prompt reply.

1. The Vodafone modem router is a power station WiFi 6 (SHG3060).

2. I have already tried a factory reset on the AX55 and a different Lan port, but the behavior is the same. Please also note that I ve been using an older mi router 4a (gigabit version) at the same lan port / power socket with no issues so far. I just wanted to replace it as an update.

3. Yes, I m using the original power adapter. I have already tried different power sockets on different rooms too.

4. On the Vodafone modem router I have connected via LAN ports : a TCL android TV, a Raspberry pi 3b and the AX55.

5. During the reboot of the AX55, all the led lights are turned on for a second. Then they all turn off for another second. Then only the power led is turned on and gradually the rest of LEDs start to turn on in the next minute with the internet led being the last one.

One time, I have also waken up in the morning when there shouldn't be any human activity in the house and I saw all the leds of the AX55 turned off. Even the power status led. I manually rebooted the AX55 after that.
