Model: Archer T4U Plus
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

Hello, I need to install driver for TP-Link Archer T4U ver.3 on my Fedora machine, official downloads page, doesn't provide linux options sadly!

What a shame tbh!

When I use `lsusb` command on terminal I see:

- Bus 002 Device 002: ID 2357:0115 TP-Link Archer T4U ver.3

On the back of the wifi adapter, there is this information:

AC1300 Dual Antennas High Gain Wireless USB Adapter

Model: Archer T4U Plus

S/N-22252D3001992 EU/1.0

Waiting for your response, thanks!

---

I was using the WiFi adapter without any problems and needs to install any drivers for about a month, but today it started misbehaving. Couldn't connect to any WIFI and after connection internet doesn't work at all, etc.

Hi, Thank you very much for the time and patience.

For  T4U_V3, if  the current Linux kernel is within 2.6.18 ~ 4.11, You can test the following driver:

https://static.tp-link.com/2018/201808/20180822/T4Uv3_T3Uv1_Linux driver from chipset manufacture.zip

However, it is higher than 1.44, since Linux is developed as an open system with various branches, we cannot guarantee the performance and stability of the adapter on your Linux system. However, there are many developers who share their drivers in Linux forums or Github/https://github.com. Maybe you can check whether there are any useful tips.

Best regards.
