Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.6.2

Hi,

I have 2 Deco M4R with the following topology design:

AP Deco M4R 1 --- Ethernet --> \

AP Deco M4R 2 --- Ethernet --> - TP SG2008P --- ISP router (DHCP)

But they work like this on fact:

AP Deco M4R 2 / wi-fi ----- AP Deco M4R1 (DHCP 192.162.68.X) -- Ethernet --- TP SG2008P --- ISP router (DHCP 1921.162.1.X)

I cannot switch neither DecoMAR 1 nor 2 into Acces Point.

If I enable DHCP relay in SG2008P, would this work as design?

  @JFI

Hi, welcome to the community.

Would there be any error message when you can't switch the operation mode from "Wireless router" to "Access Point"?

If Deco M4 is in router mode, only one Deco M4 can be connected to the ISP modem router through TP SG2008P.

Wait for your reply and best regards.

  @JFI You can connect one Deco M4 from ISP Modem to Main Deco in AP Mode and then connect second Deco M4 by using ethernet cable from Main Deco to second Deco
