Model: Archer AX53
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 54901

Hello,

I have an AX53 as a main router, and other one as satelite router in other floor.

When i configure de EasyMesh i do it with both routers in the same room and after build the Easymesh wireless i conect them with an ethernet cable.

With this configuration the EasyMesh works fine and the Ethernet backhaul works perfect.

The problem is when i move the satelite router to the other floor. The wire that connects both floors have 2 tplink switches beetween. With this configuration the ethernet backhaul doesnt work, so the switches must be the problem. What can i do? change the router models? does ethernet backhaul work throght switches.

Both switches are Tplink. One is a TP-Link TL-SG108E, the other is a TL-SG105E.

Thank you.

Hi@MrLeins,

It seems that the problem lies in switches. You can post your issue to Business Community or contact local support directly.

  @MrLeins

If you have any special configuration on the easy smart switches this could be the culprit. Other than that, with the default switch configuration the ethernet backhaul should work as expected.
