Wifi strength
I recently got starlink gen 3 which gave me a huge increase in internet speed compared to the provider I was using but found the wifi signal strength was very weak compared to my old router/ modem which is locked to the old provider so my online and instore research lead me to buying a tp link archer ax 75 duel band, but disappointed to find it isn't much better if at all my research show people having a massive improvement in speed and range doing the same thing I've done any help would be appreciated

Hi @Bullet4x4_,
If you are experiencing a weak WiFi signal with your router, there are several steps you can take to improve it:
1. Router Placement: Ensure that your router is placed in a central location within your home or office. Avoid placing it near walls, obstructions, or other electronic devices that may interfere with the signal.
2. Antenna Positioning: If your router has external antennas, try adjusting their positions to optimize signal coverage. Positioning them vertically or at a 45-degree angle can sometimes yield better results.
3. Channel Selection: Check the WiFi settings on your router and select a less congested channel. This can help reduce interference from neighboring WiFi networks.
4. Firmware Update: Make sure your router's firmware is up to date.
5. WiFi Extender/Repeater: Consider using a WiFi extender or repeater to amplify the signal and extend its range to areas with weak coverage.
WiFi signal strength can also be affected by factors outside of your control, such as the layout of your home, interference from other devices, and the distance between your device and the router.
