TL-WPA4220 KIT - Often DHCP requests
Firmware: TL-WPA4220 KIT(EU)_V5_1.0.12 Build 230309
When extender is in Advanced -> Device -> LAN "Obtain IP" mode it sends a DHCP REQUEST to router every 67 sec. with lease time=130. When extender is in Advanced -> Device -> LAN "Manual IP" mode it sends a DHCP DISCOVER to router every 21 sec. Is it normal? DHCP set to "Auto".

Hi @nettle,
It seems that you are experiencing an unstable internet connection on powerline devices, , here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
1. For wired powerline adapters, check if Power Saving Mode is enabled. You can disable it using the tpPLC utility. Refer to this FAQ for detailed instructions: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2018/
2. Move the powerline extender closer to the router and the powerline adapter. Placing them in the same room for testing.
3. Test the internet connection by connecting your client devices directly to the main router. This will help determine if the issue is specific to the powerline connection or if it's a problem with the router itself.

Hi @nettle,
If it worked before, has not been modified recently, and has not had any new appliances added to the environment, it may be that the device is old. We recommend that you contact local support for further help.
