Model: Deco X60
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have built a mesh network in my home

Main node is deco x60 unit

Connected wired (lan) to a secondary node which is deco m4 unit

The distance between the 2 nodes is 10meters

Near the main node - i have a smarttv, 50cm from the node

The smarttv connection is wifi

From time to time - the smart tv "decides" to connect to the secondary node. Because the distance is long (behinds walls etc), the wifi connection is not strong - the video hickup because of bandwidth issues

When the smarttv is connected to the main node - there are no issues

I have tried to set priority to the smartvt using the tp link app

But still from time to time it connects to the secondary node

I dont have an option to connect the smarttv wirely to the main node

Any ideas on how to make the smarttv to connect to the main node always?

Thanks for your help!

  @Kvp

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

You may refer to the guide to choose the main Deco X60 as signal source for your smart TV.

How to select a preferred signal source on the Deco App

Best regards.
