Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.1.3 Build 20210519 rel.50598(4555)

Hello Tp-Link Forum!

I need some assistance. I need the Old (EU) Firmware for my TP-LINK Archer c7 v5 Router, so I can flash older OpenWRT firmware.

It gives me an Error, which says "Invalid Filetype" on the 2021 Firmware Version.

Things I tried:

Renaming and uploading the OPENWRT Firmware with TFTP and trying to flash

Using an Ethernet Cable to connect to the Router and trying to flash

Using WiFi to Connect to the router and trying to flash

I couldnt find the Old Firmware on any Website. So, please, could someone provide it?

Hi,

This is the oldest one I could find, but it is v1.0.3 and therefore not the first release.

@woozle Okay so i discovered that our country (germany) made a stupid thing that we can only install firmware over TFTP, however the recovery method doesnt work for me. It boots into the stock firmware after the install

I don't know about that. I thought all Archer C7 V5 "EU" would be the same.
