Firmware Version: Windows 11

Hey everyone, I have another problem again... XD
This time, it's a network card issue.

Network Card Model:

TP-LINK Archer TX3000E PCI Express, Internal, 2.4 / 5 GHz

Issue Description:

Yesterday, I bought this network card from Media Expert, and today it arrived via parcel locker. I picked it up – the package was not damaged.

I installed it in my PC, but I connected the card to JUSB instead of FUSB.
From what I’ve read, this shouldn’t make a difference as both should work (my motherboard doesn’t have an FUSB port).

After turning on my PC, two unknown devices appeared in Device Manager.
I updated them – but it didn’t work...

I then downloaded Driver Booster – it showed that the WiFi driver needed an update but not Bluetooth.

So I installed the latest WiFi drivers, while the Bluetooth driver was supposedly up to date.

Current Situation:

WiFi is working perfectly fine, no issues – it's running great!
Bluetooth, on the other hand, is a different story...

In Device Manager, I see:

  • Generic Bluetooth Adapter with a yellow warning icon ⚠️
  • Checking Properties, I see the following error:
"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"

What Have I Tried?

  • Installed both old and new TP-Link drivers for this card.
  • Reinstalled Bluetooth drivers in every possible way.
  • Removed the network card drivers and restarted the PC – nothing changed.
  • No program detects any missing Bluetooth drivers for installation.

Question: What should I do now?

I’ve tried everything I could think of, but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? 🤔

Hi,

Can you please confirm the hardware version of your Archer TX3000E ?

V1 should not require any drivers to be installed by the user, as drivers for most Intel Wi-Fi chips are included in Windows 11.

Given that your Archer TX3000E showed up as two unknown devices it seems more likely that you have the version that uses a chip from MediaTek.
When downloading drivers from TP-Link's website it is important to select the correct version of the product from the dropdown menu.

Anyway, I remember I have seen such an issue before with a MediaTek based Wi-Fi/BT card, but it was easily resolved be uninstalling the "Generic Bluetooth Adapter" via the Device Manager and then clicking the button "Scan for hardware changes". The card was then detected correctly and without an exclamation mark. Of course, the prerequisite is that the correct drivers are already installed in Windows.

By the way, when you installed the drivers, did you do so by running some sort of setup.exe or did you go into the Device Manager and installed the drivers by pointing it to a folder on your computer's disk where the driver files reside?
