Bitlocker on USB external drive

Hi there,
I'd like to purchase an external drive to connect to Deco via USB as a mini-NAS. If I encrypt the drive via Bitlocker to start with (direct PC connection), then connect to Deco for further access, will I be able to make it work like this? So that it shows up as a network drive on PCs on my home network?
Thanks

Hi, thanks for your further explanation.
Yes, you can access a USB hard drive encrypted with BitLocker using the Deco BE65's Wi-Fi.
Best regards.

Hi, thanks for posting question here.
Do you mean the connection will be Deco BE65(USB port)----your PC---the external drive(encrypted by the BitLocker)?
If so, I am afraid it will not work.
Best regards.

@Marvin_S hi, thanks for your reply.
no, I meant PC USB->HDD to encrypt with Bitlocker, then PC->Deco WIFI->USB->HDD to access after encryption. Will that allow me to access the drive?
