Model: Archer VR400
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Please let me know if I'm missing something, but is it not misleading that the tp-link overview page of the model explicitly states that the LAN connections are Gigabit when, in fact, they're limited at 100mbps?

Isn't the implication of gigabit that the ports can provide up to 1,000 mbps? And, yes, I know the specs page ultimately states that the ports are 10/100 RJ45 LAN Ports but, for one, not everybody goes into the specs page and, even so, the overview page is still misleading. Would love it if someone could clarify the matter because it's disappointing to find out, after the fact, that your ethernet is limited at just 100mbps. Cheers

Overview page: "To help your wired devices achieve peak performance, the router’s Gigabit Ethernet ports operate 10x faster than standard Ethernet"

Hi, welcome to our community.

May I confirm where you checked the information of 100mbps? Please share the related screenshot for better understanding.

If that is the actual internet speed tested on your wired device connected to one of LAN ports on Archer VR400, it is suggested to confirm the specification of the cable, the speed provided by your ISP and the model of your wired device, and so on.

And the common troubleshooting is also for your reference:
What should I do if internet connection is slow when the device is connected to the TP-Link DSL Modem?

Thank you and best regards.
